Rivals pits two players against each other in a scaled-back version of classic RTS gameplay. EA’s Redwood Studios has done a good job of translating the spirit of the Real-time strategy game, which is generally a very involved experience with complex controls, to a light mobile game experience that still evokes tension and makes you work for each victory.
